 30:0 On the death of Bishop Xachik:

30:1 Իսկ յաւուրս Տեառն Խաչկայ հայրապետին Հայոց սփռեալ տարածեցաւ ազգս Հայոց զկողմամբքն արեւմտից, մինչեւ ձեռնադրել նմա եպիսկոպոսունս յԱնտիոք Ասորւոց եւ ի Տարսոն Կիլիկեցւոց եւ ի Սուլնդայ եւ յամենայն գաւառսն յայնոսիկ:

 30:1 In the days of the patriarch of the Armenians bishop Xachik, the Armenian people began to spread over the countries of the West, so that they (found themselves compelled) to appoint bishops in Syrian Antioch, in Cilician Tarsus, in Sulind and in general in all those areas:

30:2 Սա լցեալ աւուրբք, կատարեալ ժամանակաւ ի բարւոք ծերութեան փոխի յաշխարհէս եւ դնի յիւրում հանգստարանին ըստ հիւսիսոյ կուսէ եկեղեցւոյն Արգինայի, զոր ինքն շինեալ էր ի [ՆԼԹ] թուականին Հայոց. զոր ի նորուն [ԺԹ] ամն համարեալ՝ թուեսցուք զաւուրս հայրապետութեան նորա [Ի] ամս:

 30:2 Xachik migrated from this world at a very old age and was laid in his own burial-vault on the north side of the church he built in Argina in [439=990], which was the [19th] year of his patriarchate, which lasted [20] years:
