29:0 Յաղագս Դմաւունդ Վսեմականայ, որ իննսուն բիւրուն տապրիկ զօրօքն` զոր առաքեաց ի վերայ Արշակայ արքային Հայոց Շապուհ արքայն Պարսից:

29:0 Concerning Dmayund Vsemakan who, sent by the king of Iran, came with [900000] axe-bearers against king Arshak of Armenia:

29:1 Ապա ելանէր Վասակ զօրավարն Հայոց, հարկանէր զնա եւ զզօրս նորա:

29:1 how Vasak, sparapet of the Armenians, arose, reached them, and slew Dmayund and his troops:

29:2 Ապա գայր հասանէր ի Կաւոսականի տոհմէն Դմաւունդ Վսեմական, հանդերձ իննսուն բիւրուն` որ առաքեալ էին ի Շապհոյ արքայէն Պարսից յերկիրն Հայոց, տալ ընդ նոսա մարտ պատերազմի:

29:2 Then Dmawund Vsemakan of the Kawosakan tohm came with [900000] troops, sent by king Shapuh of Iran to come to the country of Armenia and make war:

29:3 Ապա կազմեցան պատրաստեցան զօրքն երկրին Հայոց, եւ Վասակ զօրավար նոցա. ելին պատերազմել ի դիմի հարկանել նոցա:

29:3 But the troops of the country of Armenia were organized and prepared. With Vasak as their general, they arose to war against the Iranians:

29:4 Ապա ի պարտութիւն մատնեցան զօրքն Պարսից յերեսաց նոցա, դարձան ի փախուստ:

29:4 The Iranian troops were defeated before them and turned to flight:

29:5 Հասանէր Վասակ, կոտորէր սպանանէր հարկանէր ի նոցանէն, զի եւ մի ոչ ապրեցուցանէր. եւ զՎսեմականն ի մէջ զօրացն սպանանէր:

29:5 Vasak caught up, struck, destroyed and killed them such that no one was spared. He killed Vsemakan among the troops:

29:6 Եւ սինլքորքն արտաքոյ իւրեանց սահմանացն հալածեալ տանէին:

29:6 while the dregs of the fugitives were chased beyond their boundaries:
