58:1 Վասն Առաւեղինաց տոհմին, թէ ուստի՛ սերեալ ազգ:

58:1 Concerning the clan of the Aṙaveḷeank’, whence this family sprang:

58:2 Ի սորա աւուրս եւ Առաւեղեանքդ, յազգէ Ալանաց, մերձաւորք Սաթինկան, զհետ նորա եկեալք` կարգեցան յազգ եւ ի նախարարութիւն աշխարհիս Հայոց, որպէս հարազատք թագուհւոյն մեծի. եւ ի ժամանակս Խոսրովու հաւրն Տրդատայ խնամեցեալ ընդ ումեմն քաջի Բասղացն եկեալ հատուածի:

58:2 In his days the Aṙaveḷeank’, who were from the nation of the Alans and related to Sat’inik and who had come with her, were established as a family and principality of Armenia, as kin of the great queen. And in the time of Khosrov, Trdat’s father, they became related by marriage to a certain warrior of the colony of Basiḷk’ that had come to Armenia:
