33:1 Յետ այսորիկ թագաւորն Վասիլ առաքէ յարեւելեայս եւ կոչէ զԺանն պատրիկ, որ սպան զՉորտուանէլն, եւ զնա մաժիստռոս արարեալ՝ առաքէ ի Մակեդոնիա ընդդէմ Բուլղարին:

33:2 Որ եւ նա քաջապէս պատերազմեալ բազում անգամ, յետոյ պարտեալ՝ անկաւ ի ձեռս նոցա, զոր առեալ տանէին յաշխարհն իւրեաց եւ ի բերդի ուրեմն ի բանտի եդեալ պահէին, որպէս զՍահակ եւ զԱշոտ:
