45:1 Այլ այն նահապետութիւն, որ ընդ որդւոցն Սենեքերիմայ՝ Ասորեստանեայց թագաւորի, որ ի ժամանակս Պարուրայ Հայկազնոյ՝ եկեալ բնակեցան յաշխարհս մեր եւ անուանեցան Արծրունիք:

45:1 The ancestry, which, with the sons of Senekerim, the king of Assyria, during the Haykazuni Paroyr settled in Armenia and received the name Artsrunik’:

45:2 Որք ծննդաբանութեամբ եկեալ հասին մինչեւ ցԳագիկ, որ յաւուրս Սմբատայ Մեծի, որ զփայտէ կախեալ եղեւ յանաւրէն որդւոյն Ապուշիճայ, զոր վերագոյն յիշեցաք. եւ յաւերմանն աշխարհիս Հայոց թագաւորեաց նա ի կողմանս Վասպուրականի ամս [ԻԹ]. եւ վախճանի [յՅՂԲ] թուականին:

45:2 from generation to generation came to Gagik, (who lived) in the days of Smbat the Great, whom, as we said above, was erected on the gallows by an ungodly son Abusaj. During the general devastation of Armenia (Gagik) reigned in the Vaspurakan countries for [29] years and died in [392=943] year:

45:3 Իսկ զկնի մահուանն Գագկայ թագաւորեաց Դերենիկն՝ որդի նորա, ամս [ԺԷ], եւ վախճանեցաւ ի [ՆԷ] թուականին:

45:3 After the death of Gagik, his son Derenik, reigned for [17] years, and died in [407=958] year:

45:4 Եւ ապա թագաւորեաց Աշոտ՝ որդի Աբուսահլի, ամս [ԻԲ], եւ վախճանեցաւ ի [ՆԼԹ] թուականին:

45:4 Then Ashot son of Abusahl, having reigned for [22] years, died in [439-990] year:

45:5 Եւ ի միասին թագաւորեցին երկու եղբարք նորա Գուրգէն եւ Սենեքերիմ, որդիք Ապուսահլի:

45:5 The sons of Abusahl, both brothers of Ashot - Gurgen and Senekerim, ascended the throne together:

45:6 Եւ ի գալ թագաւորին Յունաց Վասլի յաշխարհս արեւելից՝ եկեալ հանդիպեցան նմա նախ՝ Սենեքերիմ եւ ապա՝ Գուրգէն երէց եղբայր նորա, եւ արքունատուր ընծայիւք պատուեալք ի նմանէ առատաձեռն ոսկւով եւ արծաթով. եւ հրովարտակ առաքեալ առ մերձաւոր ամիրայսն Տաճկաց, զի մի՜ մեղիցեն աշխարհին Վասպուրականի. դադարեցոյց զառ եւ զգերութիւն եւ զհարկապահանջ բռնութիւնն:

45:6 and at the time when the Greek king Basil arrived in the country of the east, first Senekerim came to meet him, and then Gurgen his elder brother. The emperor generously rewarded them with royal gifts, gold and silver. He sent letters to the nearest Arab Amirs to leave the Vaspurakan country alone. The emperor stopped the invasions, (lightened) heavy taxes (and put an end to) robberies and captivity:

45:7 Եւ ապա Գուրգէն վախճանի ի [ՆԾԲ] թուականին. եւ Սենեքերիմ ունի զաթոռ թագաւորութեանն [Ի] ամս:

45:7 Gurgen died in [452-1003], and Senekerim ruled the royal throne for [20] years:
