15:0 Concerning Iberia (Georgia:

15:1 Ապա խաղայր սպարապետն Մուշեղ ի վերայ Վրաց արքային, եւ նեղէր զնա մեծապէս. եւ հարկանէր զերկիրն, եւ վանէր զամենայն աշխարհն Վրաց. եւ հանէր ընդ սուր զամենայն ազատս եւ զազգս նախարարացն` զոր եգիտ:

15:1 Then sparapet Mushegh went against the king of Iberia (Georgia) greatly harassing him. He struck the country and defeated the entire land of Iberia. He put to the sword all the azats and naxarar azgs he could find:

15:2 Զփառաւազեանսն հրաման տայր սպարապետն Մուշեղ հանել ի խաչ ի մէջ աշխարհին Վրաց. եւ զբդեաշխն Գուգարաց, որ յառաջն ծառայէր թագաւորին Հայոց եւ ապստամբեաց, կալեալ գլխատէր. եւ զազգն որձակոտոր առնէր, եւ զկանայսն եւ զդստերսն ի գերութիւն վարէին:

15:2 Sparapet Mushegh ordered that the Parawazeans be crucified in the land of Iberia. He seized and beheaded the bdeashx of Gugark who previously had served the king of Armenia but had rebelled. He destroyed the males of that azg and took the women and daughters into captivity:

15:3 Սոյն օրինակ եւ որ միանգամ ի կողմանն յայն էին նախարարքն, եւ ի թագաւորէն Հայոց եղեն ապստամբ, զամենեսեան գլխատէր. եւ թափէր զամենայն գաւառն, եւ առնոյր պանդանդս, եւ զմնացեալսն ի հարկի կացուցանէր:

15:3 Similarly he beheaded all the naxarars in those parts who had rebelled from the king of Armenia. He took the entire district, taking hostages and putting the remainder under taxation:

15:4 Եւ զհին սահմանսն, որ յառաջուն էր լեալ յերկիրն Հայոց եւ ընդ երկիրն Վրաց, որ է ինքն մեծ գետն Կուր, այնուհետեւ յինքն վտարեալ` դառնայր անտի:

15:4 He conquered as far as the old boundary which existed between the country of Armenia and the country of Iberia, namely the great Kura river, and then he turned back:
