12:1 Բայց Մուշեղ ոչ ունէր զերկիւղն Աստուծոյ ի մտի, վասն զի բազմաբոյծ բոզիւք կեայր նա:

12:2 Եւ առաքեաց կոչեաց զԱբլհաճայ Դելմաստանի, թոռն Սալարին, ամիրայ պարսիկ. որ թէ եւ ընդ նոսա ոչ ժամանեաց, այլ յետոյ եկեալ զՀոռոմոսի վանքն այրեաց եւ զփրկական Նշանն, որ ի վերայ սրբոյ Շողակաթի գմբէթին կանգնեալ էր, ճոպանաւք ի վայր բերէր ի [ՆԼԱ] թուականին. եւ ի վերայ նորա շարժեալ ցասումն Աստուծոյ՝ դիւաբախ լինէր:

Having gone to the court of the Greek emperor Basil, and not finding help from him, he returned, and was strangled by his own servant in the city of Ukhtik in the Tayk province:
