15:351 Իսկ խուժիկն իբրեւ լուաւ զայս ամենայն, եւ գիտաց՝ եթէ փոյթ ինչ ոչ է նոցա յայնմհետէ սուրբ սպանելոցն, փութացաւ վաղվաղակի էառ տասն այր, որոց զչափ գիտէր զքրիստոնէութեանն, եւ հասեալ ի տեղին՝ շէն եգիտ զամենեսեան:

15:351 Now when the man from Khuzhastan heard all this and realized that they would thenceforth pay no further attention to the murdered saints, he immediately took ten men the fervor of whose Christianity he knew, and hastening to the spot found all the bodies in good condition:

15:352 Եւ քանզի կասկած ունէր տակաւին ի նոցուն ի դահճացն, դարձեալ փոխեցին անտի զսուրբսն յայլ տեղի բացագոյն իբրեւ երկու հրասախաւք:

15:352 Since they were all apprehensive of the executioners, they moved the saints elsewhere about two leagues away:

15:353 Եւ իբրեւ յանհոգս եղեն, սրբեցին կազմեցին զոսկերս երանելեացն. բերին ի բանակն եւ ունէին ի ծածուկ. եւ առ սակաւ սակաւ յայտնեցին նախ զաւրականին Հայոց, եւ ապա բազում քրիստոնէիցն, որ էին ի կարաւանին:

15:353 When they felt secure, they cleaned and set out the bones of the blessed ones; they brought them to the camp and kept them hidden. Gradually they showed them, first to the Armenian soldiers, and then to the many Christians who were in the army:

15:354 Եւ զառաջին պտուղ ընծային մատուցանէին կապեալ նախարարացն. եւ անդէն վաղվաղակի արձակեցան նոքա ի կապանաց իւրեանց, եւ սպառնալիք մահուանն անցին զնոքաւք, եւ հրովարտակք թողութեան առաքեցան յաշխարհն Հայոց:

15:354 The first fruits they presented to the imprisoned nobles; these were suddenly released from their bonds, the threat of death passing them by—for edicts of amnesty had been sent to Armenia:

15:355 Այս երանելի խուժիկս, որ արժանի եղեւ ի ծածուկ սպասաւոր լինել սրբոցն, որ ինչ ի մահուանէն եւ այսր ասացաւ դատակնիք վճռիս այսորիկ, սա երկրորդեաց մեզ զամենայն կարգաւ. զչարաչար քարշումն, եւ զհարց եւ զփորձ դատաւորացն, եւ զիւրաքանչիւր անձանց սրբոցն զպատասխանիսն, եւ զկատարումն մահուան նոցա, եւ զահագին արհաւիրսն, որ ի վերայ պահապանացն անկաւ, եւ զհեծեծումն քննութեան նախարարացն երեցունց, եւ զամփոփումն սուրբ ոսկերաց նոցա ոչ խառն ի խուռն ի մի վայր ժողովելով, այլ զմի մի ի նոցանէ ուրոյն ի վեց տապանս ժողովեալ էր, եւ զանուանս իւրաքանչիւր ուսեալ եւ ի վերայ տապանացն նշանակեալ էր:

15:355 This blessed Khuzhik, who was rendered worthy to serve the saints in secret, repeated to us whatever has been said about their death up to here, their condemnation and everything in order: their cruel dragging, the questioning and interrogation of the judges, the responses of each of the saints, their execution, the awful terror which fell on the guards, the despairing query of the three nobles, the collecting of their holy bones into one place to avoid scattering. He placed these separately into six caskets, he found out their various names and indicated them on the caskets:

15:356 Եւ զկապանսն երկաթիս ընդ իւրաքանչիւր ոսկերսն եղեալ էր, քանզի դահճացն ի բաց ընկեցեալ էր. որպէս եւ զհանդերձս զիւրաքանչիւր տապանի նշանակեալ էր:

15:356 And the iron chains he placed with each one’s bones, for the executioners had thrown them away, and he likewise indicated each one’s clothing on the casket:

15:357 Եւ կատարեցան սոքա վեցեքեան սուրբ եւ ցանկալի մահուամբն իւրեանց, որ աւր քսան եւ հինգ էր հրոտից ամսոյ՝ ի մեծ անապատին յԱպար աշխարհի, եւ սահմանս Նիւշապուհ քաղաքի:

15:357 These six died a holy and desirable martyr’s death on the twenty-fifth day of the month Hrotits, in the great desert of the land of Apar, in the neighborhood of the city of Niwshapuh:
